We are going to be ttcing in the fall and I will be 32 in August. I have been pg four times in the past four years and it has taken anywhere from 3-8 months. Should I expect a longer time this time? I am on the mini pill now and not having periods so I am considering stopping in June so I can have a few cycles before ttcing.
Thanks in advance,

Kim, it sounds like your concern is about being 32. I'm 37 and it only took me 2 months to become pregnant. If it has taken you 8 months to become pregnant when you were under 30 this comes close to being a fertility issue not based on your age, but not quite yet. If it takes more than 6 months you should definitely discuss it with your Dr. You are wise to be thinking about waiting a few cycles after you stop your pills before you TTC. Good luck to you!

Kim I'm 31 and got pg. a month before my 31st b-day. It took us deciding to start a family we ttc for 1 month. That was it. I have friends who are younger that have tried for months to years, I personally think it is a fict_tious plan of the medical world that as soon as you're 30 the biological clock freaks out and you're alarm goes off. I can understand medical reasons, but a lot of those are 35+ look at Perl she's 37 and got pg. in 2 months.
