Hi.I got pregnant coming right off the pill. I stopped my pill when my son was 11 months old, I thought it might take awhile to concieve,we had troubles before him, but when I went off the pill in the middle of Nov, I never got a period in Dec,so I tested and it was neg,went to the doc and he told me it was normal to maybe not have a period for a month or two,so when Jan came I still had nothing,bought another test,and lo and behold, that positive sign came up right away!I was already 8 weeks along! I must have ovulated pretty much right after I got off the pill and got pregnant. I now have a beautiful 21 month old daughter from it. mother to 2 wonderful children!!!

Hi, Can anyone help me fathom this out...I just stopped the pill after 15 years on it. I took my last pill 12 days ago and had my normal break through bleed which ended 4-5 days ago. We had s_x last night and I am pretty sure there is no way I could have ovulated in those few days between finishing bleeding and last night - but reading a few posts now I'm not so sure? Also, if I was to ovulate within the next few days, can the sperm still be living in my system? It confuses me as I fully expect I will need to have several cycles before I truly ovulate after all the years on the pill.We'll see....

Hi everyone. I have been on the pill for 7 years (Alesse). I had my period October 20 and had stopped the pill. Had unprotected s_x on the 31st and Nov 6, and ovulation date was Nov 4 (well I had some spotting, which I thought was ovulation spotting although I've never had that before). So I'm 2WW right now 7DPO. I had some nausea earlier this month but now it seems better, a very warm feeling belly especially after I've eaten which is weird and tender b___sts (although feeling better, wondering if I'm just getting used to it). Could we be pregnant or am I just having symptoms of getting off the pill? I'm hoping for a BFP in 7 days.

Hi feeling hopeful.I posted on here last August with almost the same question.I can now tell you it took me 10 months to fall pregnant.my cycles never regulated themselves after stopping the pill.they were 40 to 65 days apart each time! But like you, in the first few months I had pregnancy like symptoms and thought I might be.but it must have been my body adjusting. Weirdly, my doctor was referring me for tests as she thought I might not be ovulating.she found my thyroid was low.however, that month I conceived, with no planning, only had s_x once in the month!I didn't even suspect I was pregnant! So I guess it is different for us all.I know people who conceived straight away and those it took up to a year.my advice is relax and it'll happen when not expecting it! I'm now 30 Weeks,yikes! Hi achams! Thanks for the advice. Yes I agree it takes some people awhile before getting pregnant off the pill:) I'm just hoping I'm one of the lucky ones. I'm just going out of my mind during this 2WW! Guess I'll know in a week!

I was on Nora Be for 2 and a half months then came off of it beginning-middle of December. my husband and i had a lot of s_x during December and beginning of January. i am now 8 days late and have been having several pregnancy symptoms. the worst of them has been the nausea, headaches, and fatigue. ive had several negative hpts. i also had a blood test done and the result was negative. the nurse said that i am still to early in the pregnancy for the hcg levels to be recognized because they are still too low. i am going to be 5 weeks on 01/16/2013. has anyone else had this happen to them? i just want to know if i really am pregnant.

Hi ladies,

Just stopped Seasonal bcp about 2 weeks ago, around the week of Feb 14.  Were on bcp for about 2 yrs. Wasnt very good with remembering taking the pills. Took pills at different times and not everyday. Sometimes missed 3 days, took 2 pills on the 4th day etc.  Had unprotected sex on feb 24, 28, n 29. Any chance i will get pregnant?

hi ladies,
Stopped taking seasonal bcp around the week of feb 14. was on it for almost 2 yrs. Never took pills on time. Sometime no pills for 3 days and take 2 pills the following day. Had unprotected sex on feb 24, 27, and on 28. Possible to get pregnant?
