Hi all
Im 23 this month my partner is 33 and ive been with my partner for 6 years, we have a house 3 bedroom and a stable relationship. I recently lost my job due to stress and im not really doing anything at the moment. My partner and I had a discussion last night and he mentioned wanting children.
I have thought about this many times as ive been out and done most of the things i want, but when he actually said shall we try it scared me to death ! i mean not because i dont want to but because im terrified of all the complications, morning sickness and the birth !
Can anyone give me some advice?
Thanks

take it as it comes. The m/s dosnt last forever, neither does labor (even though it feels like it at the time) but it sure is worth it when its done....

I am 21 and 22 weeks pregnant! I was really sick for the longest time I still have problems if I don't sleep or don't eat soon enough, I had to quit my job I was too dizzy to continue working, It can be scary but you have to think if it's what you both want it's so worth it! They say you can prepare your whole lifetime to be a mother and be financially stable but you will never be as ready as you should be or needed to be! But it will all work out in the end!

When you and your body is ready you will just know. And all those fears of labour and the pain etc all just fade away and you are left only with the desire/urge to start a family and feel nothing but exhilaration and happiness at the thought of ttc and becoming a mum. I think if you have major issues you are concerned about that are stopping you in your tracks from even thinking about ttc, then the time to become a mum possibly is not right at the moment. Give it time and I promise you when your clock is ticking and you are ready, all those fears will be gone. :) Good Luck xo

At 23 you still have heaps of time to think about it some more, and perhaps just wait for your body to be ready... when you are you wont even have to think about it, your hormones/mind just tells your subconscience everyday 'baby baby baby' he he
