people are asking if they are too old at 30.Let me just say,I had my 1st baby at 37,after being with the same man for 27yrs,I was too happy working and travelling the world for kids.At 16-18 you are too young.To bring a life into this world you have to be mature enough,also deeply in love with the man,and that means understand and be on the same wavelength regarding upbringing,and beliefs.You will need to be commited together when the child grows and adolecence kicks in.I would'nt have wanted to have been tied down with kids at the age of 18,life was for living,I also had no money,was'nt financially secure or had a house.Now we have all that,a lovely house,and a baby.The most important thing here,is not too old,but whether you know the man long enough to raise a child together,after all if you split up and hate him,he will be part of your life forever,this can affect future relationships,with your children too.Enjoy your life I would advise,kids are demanding and hard work,no way would I have wanted them younger.
