my son eats sometimes every 1/2 hr. he slept 5.5 hrs last night, so there's hope in sight, but all I do before he goes to be is b/f. this happens in the a.m. too.

Sounds like he is just going through another growth sprut. Expect the next one around 3 months the feeding should taper off . I am sure he is getting all the stuff he needs in bf. Well done MOM

My son did this too and I introduced the bottle. I just felt too tied down. I hated not being able to leave the house. I don't like to BF in public. My son is in the 95 % for both height and weight. His doctor couldn't be happier.

Don't give up, it gets much better. It's probably a growth spurt. By the time they are a couple months old it starts to become more of routine, and when they start solid food at 4-6 months it's much less time consuming.

My baby went through the same thing when she was 2 weeks. I thought it was my milk drying up and she wasnt getting anything from me. this made me very upset. I rang my health visitor who told me it was a growth spirt. Not to worry. Try and expess a bottle even if it takes u a few goes to get enough in there as this will give your b___sts time to catch up. Just lay down with your baby when this happens and relax, its your bodys way in telling you you need to chill and spend relaxing time feeding your baby. My babys growth spirt lasted a day. Im expecting another at 6 weeks, ive expressed quite alot of milk just in case!! Good luck!!

my little one is also b/f and gaining a huge amount of weight at 3 month he weight 17.8 pounds about 8 kg... i also had to feed constantly around the 6-8 weeks groth spurt but he is now a lot better. as long as you son is healty and gaining weight don't worry. try feeding lying down it really helped me.
