Are Electric Pumps All That GREAT

h__lo ladies, my MIL insists that she buys me an electric pump and I'm doing just fine with my manual, my milk supply is going well, and it only takes me 10 minutes to get four ounces out. Do you see any pros and cons of the electric, I just can't stand how big they are, the manual is so easy to transport.

I would let her know that you are doing fine with the one you have right now and that you would prefer to stick to it. And possibly that you are more comfortable with it. That is if you want to. I bought a manual pump. I haven't used it yet, but I am sure that it will go good. Best of luck to you!

Depending on how much supply of milk u need on hand, how much time you need to preserve, A electric pump is wonderful. U can pump 8 ounces in 10min and not have a tired hand:)

I only have a manual too. I have though about getting an electric, but am still on the fence. If you are only needing occa__sionally if you are going out without the baby or for engorgement, then stick to it. If you need one to go back to work, I think the electric is a good investment.
