I am some what brest feeding and bottle feeding with formula I dont seem to make enough milk for my baby so I let him nurse for 30 mins and give him a 2 oz bottle of formula, he gained 2 lbs by his two week check up is that too fast?? exp, he was 7lb4 oz at birth and 9lb at two weeks he grew an inch too. I am trying to produce more milk for him but not getting any luck dont know what to do.

They should double their weight by 3 months of age and tripple by a year. So your baby is right on track. Don't worry.

It took a few weeks for my milk to come in completely. Nurse as often as you can. I don't think a newborn can gain weight "too fast". I bet your ped. was thrilled at his progress.
