I'm expecting my baby any day now, my due date was the 15th. I'm planning on br___tfeeding, but am wondering how hard it is to have my mom or husband feed the baby too. How hard is pumping and is there even any time at all to pump between baby's feeding? Another question is, if I want to br___tfeed and then formula feed when baby is with my mom...is that possible? One more question is do I need to buy a certain type of bottle, with a special nipple for br___tfeeding so baby doesn't reject my br___t after the bottle? Please let me know, thanks so much! =0)

I always used avent bottles and my baby never had a problem. I've heard that there's no such thing as nipple confusion, there's just nipple preferences. I gave my baby formula as well but that is b/c I had to - my supply was low b/c she didn't latch for 7 weeks. I bought organic formula so that made me feel better. You shouldn't pump for 3 weeks (maybe 4). I can't remember, sorry. You need to get your supply established. Pumping is not hard. I had a double pump which is better b/c you get more milk that way b/c of the prolactin release from the brain (pituitary gland). The double stimulation releases more prolactin which in turn makes you get more milk. I'm certainly not an expert, but you can e mail me with any questions @ karlynn17@hotmail.com
