How To Stop Milk Production

Hi! I've been br___tfeeding my baby for 7 weeks now, but I have decided to stop because I have recently found out I have gallstones and have to have my gallbladder taken out and the medicine I'm on won't allow me to br___tfeed. Pumping is too inconvenient right now and painful, so I'm going to stop altogether. I was just wondering how you stop the production of milk. My nurse told me when I was discharged from the hospital, but I forgot what she said because I was planning on br___tfeeding for a while. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
