My sister bought me the Advent Isis manual br___t pump. What is everyone's experience with this? I'm going to rent an electric pump from the hospital, but I need the manual for when I go out without my baby. What does everyone think? I have 4 weeks to go, so I have time to return it if its bad. Thanks for the info.

i have it and it's good for occasional use, which is all i use it for. i'd be willing to bet, though, if you need to pump on a regular basis it'll wear out quickly.

i think it th best manual pump out there -- but I have not tried them all either. The lactation consulltant at our hospital said it is the ony manual pump to buy.

I like the Avent Isis. I bought it two weeks after I had the baby and it has been a really good manual pump. It is easy and comfortable to use, and it is eay to a__semble and clean. I only use it occa__sionally, which is what most manual pumps are designed for. I have been thinking about buying an electric pump, but may rent one first to see if I like it. My baby is 11 weeks old, so don't feel like you have to make your pump choices before you have your baby. You definitely have time. :)

I love my Avent manual pump. I use it 4x per day. See more on this in the "has anyone rented the medela cla__sic" thread.
