How long do you pump on each side when you use your manuel pump?

It would depend on alot of things like if you are only pumping, age of baby, supply etc.

She's 4 weeks old and I'm pumping because she has thrush and it's really painful for her to eat off the b___st right now.

Look at kellymom.com for some tips on pumping. I would pump every 2-3 hrs and try to get at least 2 oz per side. Just a guess though.

I usually go fo 10 min on each side and usually get 1.5-4 oz depending on the time of day I do it.

When I use my manual I do 2-3 minute on each side then switch. I do 3 sets like this. Blake is 7 months old. You would probably want to do 5 minutes on each side about 3 times since Sarah is so young. Have you treated yourself with something. Monistat works great!

I pump til the b___st is drained plus a few minutes, then switch to the other side.

I pump until the milk is gone. Usually about 5 minutes per side and get about 3 oz. per side when done about 3 hours after a feeding.

if i haven't nursed in a while on one of my b___sts and then manual pump on it i can get 4 oz in less than 10 mins. if i pump til nothings coming out i wait a minute and then pump again and more milk comes out.
