Milk Flow

Just wondering when it is normal to start having your br___ts leak a bit from being pregnant.. I am almost 30 weeks now and lastnight in the bath I noticed that I was dripping a bit, nothing too major, just thought it might be a bit early. It wasn't a lot, just a couple drops. I knew it wasn't just water because of the color. I hope that there is nothing wrong and that this isn't too strange. Please let me know. Thanks

It's colostrum, and it's right on schedule. That's what your baby will eat the first few days of his/her life outside of you - your milk should come in between days 3 and 5 after giving birth.

and youll know when your milk comes in for real, i asked my midwife 1 day before my milk came in how id know and she said suddenly youll have two hard footb___s, she was right i woke up next day with 3 sizes bigger b___bs that were solid, answering your question properly, ive heard people i know say when they heard a baby cry when they were pregnant it started them full flowing!!! no worries

My colostrum started around 24 weeks, because I held my cousin's 6 month old b___stfed baby - drenched my shirt! And, when my milk came in - if my b___sts moved, if a sheet fell across them, anything, milk just sprayed...lol.

I started making colostrum around 20 weeks. That was it. The real milk just started to come in two days after my Ben was born. I think everyone is different in this regard, so I would not worry if it hasn't come in at all. It will after your baby is born.
