I was wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with trying to br___tfeed after having had surgery. About 3 years ago I had a lump removed from my left br___t for a biopsy (negative, thankfully!) I had not thought much about it, but recently read that it could possibly interfere with br___tfeeding if the incision was around the nipple (mine was, but only around the top third). I asked my OB, and she said it may or may not interfere, I would have to wait and see. I would love to hear if anyone had success after a similar surgery. I'm pretty upset, because it took me a while to really commit mentally to definitely br___tfeeding, and now that I have, I am worried I won't be able to!!

I b___stfed my first daughter, who is now 3 years old, and plan to b___stfeed my second daughter due in Feb. I had b___st augmentation in 1999 and had no trouble at all with b___stfeeding. What matters is whether your milk ducts were compromised by the surgery which mine were not. Hopefully yours were not either but my OB gave me the same answer as to wait and see when you actually start b___stfeeding. I hope this has been of some comfort to you and good luck with b___stfeeding!
