Swollen Gland Under Right Arm

Has anyone else experienced a swollen gland in their armpit while br___tfeeding? I'm freaking out a little because I associate swollen glands with cancer, but I'm also wondering if it has to do with br___tfeeding.

How long have you been b___stfeeding? I got them for about 3 or 4 days after my milk came through.

Does it hurt? It could be a plugged duct.

My milk came in late yesterday and, yes, it is a little sore to the touch. Baby Jenna was born last Monday evening, so I've been b___stfeeding for about 6 days.

Give it a few days...like, talk to a doctor about it if it still hurts on Friday. Congratulations on your little girl!

It should go down soon if it hasn't already.

try ice anf ibuprofen- should help with the inflammation. it could be a plugged duct. you could also ma__sage the area while you nurse your baby. if those things don't help, go see your doctor.

I was told to use heat and ma__sage. It worked for me. Keep a close eye on it. If it doesn't get better, or you develop a feaver see a doctor.
