I just started pumping today so I could try my daughter on bottles before returning to work. I know you are not supposed to use the microwave or the stove, so how do you warm br___tmilk? And how will I know what the right temperature is?

microwve smicrovwave i was raised on bottles heated by the microve (allthough i would only do so in a pinch) if you have to heat it in the micrwave heat it at intervals and shake it im beteween, i would personalyy opt for a bottle warmer or running hot tap water over the bottle while shaking it as far as the temp goes put a drop on your wrist is should feel slightly warm to you if it feels hot or vary warm let it cool b4 feeding the baby

Run hot tap water into a bowl and put the bottle into it until it warms to room temp. If you start freezing it in b___stmilk bags, it is even easier-rum hot water over the bag until it melts and is the right temp.

Cold milk won't hurt the baby, as long as it's not frozen or fridge-cold; baby just might not like it. Room temperature or slightly higher is about right. Run very hot water over bottle, though I agree it's easier to warm milk in a b___st milk bag.
