I recently noticed that I have a white bump on my right nipple. I'm concerned since I am expecting in two weeks I've read some things online that could suggest it might be a little cyst. It doesn't hurt and nothing comes out of it. I plan on making an appt. tomorrow to have it looked at. But just wanted to see if any of you ladies have experienced the same thing. I pray that it's nothing serious since I really do want to nurse.

How big is it? I had a little one. It was just a blockage of clotted milk. I punctured it with sterilized a safety pin and drained it. It is still tender, but loks ok. If you get it looked at, let us know what it was,

I went to see my PCP and he told me it was an infected gland. He told me to compress it with a hot wash clothe for now. He didn't want to prescribe me any antibiotics until after the birth. So I went home and did as he advised. While doing so, I squeezed on it and some white stuff like colustrum or milk came out. Afterwards it was reddish pink for a while and now it looks much better. It's not sore or tender. It sounds like what you had. I hope it goes away and doesn't reappear. Good luck!!

I have a yellow blister like thing. I read up on this and it sounds like a milk blister, for me anyway. It does not seem like something I can pop though. I will start a new thread about this.

Hey beatrice, mine is gone already. Just let the baby nurse and ma__sage your b___st if it is plugged anywhere. You should also put a hot cloth on your nipple for 10 minutes to help loosen the plugged area, that is what is it by the way. GOOD LUCK!
