how much milk will i have to pump if my husband and i want to go out one night for drinks? also how long do you have to wait after you drink to br___tfeed again? 24 hours? thanks, just curious.

Well I guess it depends on how much you are going to drink?? a couple of drinks or drinking alot? If your only going to have one drink then you can b___stfeed that night but if your going to get silly then I would suggest to pump and throw out that milk until the that afternoon of the next day and I would have a couple of bottles stored up, hope this helps...

you don't have to pump after drinking. the alcohol is reabsorbed out of your b___stmilk into your blood stream and metabolized. my guideline was always: if your sober enough to drive then your sober enough to b___stfeed. pumping and dumping is NOT nessisary. however, you'll need some expressed milk in case baby gets hungry and your still feeling tipsy. have a drink! enjoy!
