i am pregnant and have br___t implants. I want to nurse but am worrie the surgery might have impacted my ability. I have some nerve and sensation damage (i still have sensation in my br___t and nipples, but not as much as before). Anyone else have implants and gone through this??

I am trying to get pregnant, and worry about the same. I do not have any sensation loss, in fact, i am more sensitive. My surgeon said, you won't know until you try, so I guess it is a waiting game...good luck...how far along are you?

I was just doing some research on the same subject. Look up "Breast implants and Pregnancy Dr Scott Miller". I hope this will help you or at least put you in contact with someone who can. All the best for you and bub!!!

I heard that when you have implants you get engorgement much more is that true? I am 39 weeks and hoping to bf I have had my implants since 2001 with no issues, although they wern't large ones just 360's- I love my pregnancy size b___sts though I dont want them to go back to the way they were. I was 34 a before 34c/d after and now 36e.

at first they got engorged, but only for the first week about. i was a 34 a as well and got 350 cc so went to the same as you and still huge and perky. So far so good, so best wishes to you too.

I have been interested in having b___st implants for the last few years but also worried it would interfere with b___st feeding. According to everyone I have spoken to, if it's implanted under the muscule there is little to no impact on the ability to b___st feed. For implants that are directly in the tissue there's more of a chance you cannot b___st feed because there is usually hardening and scarring in the tissue around the implant.

For those of you either pregnant or nursing with implants can you tell me when you started noticing changes in your b___sts? I'm just worried because I've noticed no changes and I am 16 weeks. Also, I had an armpit incision and under the muscle, but did have some slight loss of sensation in certain areas following the surgery. Anyone else experience this?
