Clamping Down On Nipple Even When Full

my 8 week old keeps clamping down on my nipple even when I'm pretty full. any suggestions?

the actual nipple of the area around it? the mouth shouldn't be on the nipple at all, it should be at the back of the baby's mouth. that must be a killer. my baby did that to me once when i tried to bf and i crieddd lol

he latches off slightly and bites right under where my nipple starts. It's not as painful if it was the actual nipple, but still pretty bad :(

maybe try another position and see. might be the reason, wont hurt to try

He might be teething had started,just tell him firmly no biting Mommy doesn't like it it hurts. After a couple of turns reminding him not to bite he shouldn't do it any more. I used to say to my boys if you are going to bite Mommy I will take you off the b___b. The phase didn't last very long. Yes they still bited from time to time but not at every feedings. Very far and in between sessions.
