anyone with flat or inverted nipples had success using the Niplette system before their baby's birth to pull nipples out?

Never heard of it but ask your ob. When I tried nursing my son the first time the nurse asked me why I didn't prepare my flat nipples. I said I didn't know I was supposed to? I had a heck of a time getting him to latch.

see that's what happened with my first. I told everyone and their dog that I planned to b___stfeed and that my nipples were inverted. noone ever mentioned preparing them either, so I ended up giving up. I've spoke with a lactation consultant this round and she mentioned the niplette, which uses suction to help pull them out. I"m just looking for some success stories.
