my little princess is 7 weeks old, and for a while, (like from 3 weeks until just recently) she was nursing for 15-20 on one side and a little less on the other side, now she does like 10 on one side and 5 on the other if i am lucky. she still eats every 3-4 hours, and is gaining weight well and pooping and peeing enough...it just has cut down considerably. is she getting better at it, is that why? also, this won't hurt my milk supply will it? she is exclusivly br___t fed, except for the very occasional bottle of formula if we are out and i can't bf her, usually i make sure tofeed her before i leave...any one know??

I would say that she is just more effecient at emptying your b___st faster. I have found this as my little one grew.

Yep - I second the "more efficient" answer. You will probably notice that your supply *SEEMS* to be diminishing in the next few weeks - it's completely normal, because your body is going to regulate to what your baby needs. So, don't worry if you don't leak as much, or don't feel as full, or if you stop feeling a let -down. It's all completely normal.

I don't feel my let down really anymore either and if Emma feeds within a couple hours of each feeding, I never feel it. I swear she doesn't give me time to fill up!
