Decide that's what you want to do. There are solutions to just about every problem you'll encounter while b___stfeeding, you just need to have the determination to see it through. For the first 4 to 6 weeks, it'll be a huge pain in the b___b. You'll have to deal with engorged b___sts, sore/cracked nipples, and a baby who nurses constantly. You'll also encounter people telling you that you're not making enough milk or that your milk is too weak, etc. But, you gotta remember...babies survived on b___stmilk alone for centuries. Don't supplement with formula until you get the firm diagnosis of failure to thrive; don't doubt whether he or she is getting enough just because (s)he nurses for hours...watch the dirty diapers, and keep in mind, your baby is just learning how to do it, too.

There are very few who can't. Usually due to b___st surgery where the ducts were cut so badly that they couldn't heal. If you want to , you can just as Jamie said above. Going to a La Leche League meeting before your baby is born will give you a good foundation for success. Enjoy!
