I put on three stone during pregnancy, I was a size 10 clothes, now im a 12/14 and still 1.5 stone overweight with flabby skin on belly, before i couldnt grab an inch on my belly now i can grab a handfull. I dont like it but dont want to diet as i need good milk for my baby, I keep snacking on crisps/cake as its easy, i have no time to prepare complicated stuff but need ideas for healthy things to eat whilst im sat for ages feeding?

Fresh fruit and veggies are always a good option. I lived on grapes while I was b___stfeeding my first child. Another option if you crave something salty is a pita. Just peel it into 2 circles and cut into wedges. Spray with a non-fat cooking spray and sprinkle with salt/garlic powder/seasoned salt-or pretty much what ever you like. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes. These are a great lowfat alternative to crisps!!

They take a couple of mins to make, are so lovely and not too fatting. Milkshakes. Mmmmm, i'm addicted to them. I put 1 pint of milk, slice up a banana, natural yoghurt and a scoop of ice-cream. Stick it in the blender and blend. It is bloody lovely! Kids love it too, and I don't mind giving them it either cos it's healthy.

I love chocolate chip cookies so I had to tweak a recipe so it is healthy. These are great and they travel well so I always throw some in the diaper bag with some water for if I'm out and hungry and then I don't have to stop for fast food 1 cup b___ter, 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 cups flour, 1 tsp. baking soda, 2 cup oatmeal, 1/2 cup each sesame seeds, unsalted sunflower seeds, flax seeds, poppy seeds, pumpkin seeds, raisins, dried cranberries and chocolate chips. Add as little or as much as you like. You will have to mix it with your hands by the end. Shape into b___s and squish onto a baking sheet. 375 for 10 min approx.(depending how big they are). If you don't like an ingredient leave it out. This recipe is easily halved, but I prefer making a big batch and freezing them so I always have some on hand. Enjoy!
