My Nipples Are Cracking What If She Swallows Blood

i was just curious if anyone knows whether it is dangerous or not for a newborn to br___tfeed when my nipples are slightly cracked and she may suck some blood out? she's only 5 days old, and i don't want anything to happen to her...anyone experiencing the same thing? is it dangerous? thanks.

No, it's not going to hurt her. It's normal. I saw a lactation consultant a couple times right after my daughter was born because I was so cracked and sore and she said it wouldn't hurt the baby.

One more thing I should have told you - it won't last much longer. You're at the worst part, it's going to start getting a lot better now. Hang in there, I know it's painful, but it's worth it!
