Hello, I am new on here so am not too sure that I am posting this in the right place. I have had 3 C Sections, first emergency and the 2nd planned due to the rough time i had with the labour on the 1st. I was taken in with pain 12 days early for the 2nd and had my section then. The consultant that did the section came to me afterwards and said that my uterus wall was translucent and that i had scar dehisence and that i should definately not have any more children...A while after i saw my own consultant and he said that the surgeon was being over cautious and it would be fine to have more. He said i would be closely monitored and scheduled in for a section at 37 weeks. The main thing was to not go into labour...I went into labour at 33 wekks and had my section then..my daughter weighed 4lb 8ozs... She is absolutely fine now....No one mentioned to me after the 3rd that there was anything wrong with the scar or uterus wall so i a__sume this was all ok this time...I now really would like another baby, my three are now 13, 7 and 5 and i would really like some advice or opinions from you, Thank you

Hi delroyandDevita! Thats really good news! Im really happy for you!! The times almost here for the baby. I hope everything goes absolutely well for you, my prayers are with you and your baby! I've just moved houses, and i just joined the new doctors, so i guess i'll be going in to them and asking for their opinion. Finbers crossed, and im praying that they'll say yes to me. Hi Mum of 3, I am doing great. I am 32 weeks pregnant and will be having my c section on April 23. I am so very excited, all is still well with me.. No problems, no aches or pains. The only thing I had was swollen feet, but not anymore. I have braxton hicks every now and again but that is it. Dante is very healthy and active. Blood pressures for me are awesome. Last week it was 118 over something.. I can't remember but my doctor was impressed.lol God is truly blessing us....

Hello Delroy and Devita, I am just posting to wish you good luck because your due date is almost here!! I'm going to go on holiday on July, and after that i'm probably going to ttc #4! Hi Mum of 3, all is well with us. I am now on bedrest, because it seems the little boy wants to come out early. My doctor is not concerned, just wanted to make sure he stays in there until at least 37 weeks. Still no complications, we are all doing really well. My office threw me a baby shower on March 4th. And I am happy to report that they have blessed us with all of the big stuff. Eddie Bauer carseat/stroller, Graco Crib, high chair, bouncer, clothes, pampers etc. We are truly blessed. We are set to have the family baby shower April 4th. We are so happy, and anxious for him to arrive. Yay.. I am so TTC in July. And your going on vacation, ummm...I wonder will you be pregnant before you even start ttc?lol I will pray for you and your family that your journey is not a long one with trying to get pregnant. Thanks for checking up on me!

Hello Delroy And Devita, Thats so sweet of your office! Bless them! Aww the little one is eager to come out and see his mummy and daddy, bless him! Hes honestly a big blessing for you and your family, lucky you! He'll have a great family with his older sisters and his mummy and daddy! Are his sisters excited? How about your oldest daughter? I have a daughter who is the same age. lol. Well he's only a few weeks away from coming! Yay!! Make sure you get all your bed rest because its very essential, and after the little ones here i don't think you'll get enought bed rest! boys are boys! lol. Yep i'm going on July and coming back on September the 5th...and then hopefully the journey begins! lol. Have fun with the baby shower...and hope you get lots more prezzies! Hi Mum of 3. I am actually scheduled to have the baby this tuesday April 21, 2009.. I am so excited. I can't believe in a few days, we will be holding him in our arms. Yay....We had another baby shower with family and friends, and it was so many people here at our house. I think we had 40 guests. He has everything he needs now, and the crib is all set up for him. Can't wait to post after he is born. I have to get my laptop fixed today, so I can take it with me..lol I will let you know all about it in the coming weeks. Take care, and thanks for checking in... hi mum of3,just wanted to let you know that i had the baby on saturday at 1 pm est. he weighed in at 8 pounds 16 ounces. have i got a story to tell about tis birth.lol i didn't get my tubes tied, since my doctor discovered that my uetrus is in good shape and very little scare tissue. we are truly blessed.. iwill talk more about this later, i am on my hubby to be tc phone. should be going home this tuesday 4/21. talk to you later

Hi Mum of 3. Ok here is the story. I went into labor at 3 am 4/18. I was so nervous because my doc was going to NY for the weekend with his family for a christening. He told me that wednesday jokingly, Devita do not go into labor this weekend.lol Rememember I was scheduled to have the c section on 4/21. So anyway I had this cramp in my side. I mean it was horrible, but I pa__sed it off thinking it was round ligament pain. Well then they intensified. So I called my doctor. I said Please tell me your still in town, he said yes. I told him that I was having contractions, and he said well looks like we maybe having this boy sooner than tuesday. I get to the hospital in like 5 minutes. Delroy was a mess..lol I am hooked up to the monitors, and they tell me oh your having contractions. Uh duh..lol But nonetheless, they take their time getting me registered etc. So by this time I said ok call my Dr and tell him whats up, they called a resident. So I had Delroy call my doc. He was on his way out of town because no one called to tell him that my labor had progressed. Can you believe that he turned around and came to the hospital. He came in and was like Devita, it is beautiful outside and you in here in labor..lol let me back up.. once they told him I was in labor he had them prep me for surgery. I was taken into the prep room, given the foley cathereter, IV etc. Once that was done, the anethesiologist came in and talked about the spinal block etc. I was given the spinal which by the way DID NOT HURT. once that was done, the doc came in and I didn't even know he had started. I mean 5 minutes into it Delroy came in, and then I hard this cry. I was like aww I hear a baby..How cute.. My doc fell out laughing he said that is yoru baby..lol It was so fast. The nurses were awwing and just telling me how big he was etc. Delroy went over to him, and then my doc says.. ok we did a double st_tch to uterus. Oh yeah, your uterus is in perfect shape.. You want to have another baby??? My mouth dropped open.. I couldn't believe him.. I mean 3 now 4 c sections later and still NO SCAR TISSUE.. what a blessing. We left the tubes untied. Next thing you know I was being wheeled back to recovery and an hour later into my room with baby on my chest. He was given to me immediately after surgery. We were so happy... They took him to the nursery for a__sessments etc, but he was back with me in like an hour or 2. By the time the family got there he was coming in.. My mom and the kids were so happy. Delroy;s mom was out of town and came home on Sunday.. She was so happy.. She now has 3 granddaughters and a grandson. Both grandmothers are over the moon right now...lol God has truly blessed us.. More than you will ever know. WOW...So now we are full force with the wedding. Oh yeah, I was up and walking around that night after the c section. I pa__sed gas, BM everything. It was crazy. My blood pressure was normal everytime, and temps were 98.6 the entire time afterward. What a blessing huh? Girl God is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Good.......

Hi Devita, WOW the whole time while reading this i kept on wowing and awwing. Your story is incredibly sweet. Your doctor sounds amazing, he actually turned back to come to the hospital. 'You want another baby?' your doctor actually said that, hmm i wonder if you do lol. You were given a spinal? They gave me a spinal each time with my csections. WOW, 4 csections and still no scar tissue, lucky you lol. Your family must be over the moon right now, and the Grandmothers have someone else to spoil no as well lol. What did you decide to name your baby? How are you doing? Hope you and your family are well. Now your wedding has everything to be perfect, and i will surely pray that your wedding goes amazingly. Hi Mum of 3. Yes. My doctor told me prior to closing me back up that my uterus was in perfect shape and no scarring. I was so happy, he was like you can have another baby if you want. He actually did a double st_tch on my uterus. There was a nurse who a__sisted him, and she was like aww this is her first baby and csection. My doctor was like no this isn't. this is a repeat c section, as a matter of fact her fourth. She was in shock. That is how good my uterus looked. Yes. We would like to have one more baby, and then we will be finished with babies..lol Yes.. the wedding will be perfect. We are so truly blessed. Girl God is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Good. If I were you, I would really consult with another doctor about having another baby.... I wish you were here in Md. You could go to my doctor.

Hi Devita. Wow, your nurse actually thought that you were having your 1st csection, lol. Your uterus must have been is more than a perfect condition, lucky you. Aww, another baby...i say go for it girl lol. I've moved houses just recently, and i've joined a new doctor. I'm going to ask them soon...i just hope that they say yes, and then we shall see if i can give you any good news on September lol. how is your little one doing so far? God Bless xx

I am absolutely terrified of this csection (scheduled tomorrow) It is my second c-section, second child, and I feel like there is a mental wall that I can't get over. Have any of you felt this way? How did you work through it?

Hi Mommylady316. Yes, I have had this happen.. However, my doctor comforted me and I also prayed on the situation. Just relax you will be fine.. Do you have alot of scare tissue? Sorry it took so long for me to respond... I hope and pray all goes well..Let me know how things went...
