I had that after my second C. The dr said not to worry, it is muscle contraction, everything trying to get back where it's supposed to be!

Hi Amy, yes, my whole abdomen has actually felt harder since my second C. (Too bad it doesnn't look firmer!) I'm 28 weeks pregnant now, and sometimes my abd feels so firm it's almost like a constant contraction(just the muscles, not the flab:) My dr says the muscles are out of shape, this being #4, and to only try to judge uterine contractions while sitting or laying down. This helps, as before it felt like I was having a contraction every time I stood up!
