I had a c-section in November of 2005 and though I feel like I have healed I can't stand to be touched anywhere in that area. I feel like I am fragile. I do have some numbness and occassional p___kling sensations when pressure is put on my incision. Was just wondering if anyone else had problems with being touched in that area?

I have the same problem as well. I had a C Section 6 weeks ago and my tummy is tender and numb near the scar. I am not sure if this is normal or whether it will ever disappear at all. Please let me know if you have any info.
Thanks.

i had a c-sec august '04, I had some tenderness in the area for quite some time afterwards, but still alot of numbness. It gradually got better, but when feeling returned to the site completely, it was very tender again. By 6 or 7 months postpartum, i felt good again and was able to touch the area no problem except for when i had my period, when it seemed to be tender again. My doctor a__sured me this was normal and was only the nerves reattaching themselves and resuming their proper function. I hope this helps you somewhat. I know it seems like a long time, but it wasn't unbearable or dibilitating, more like an annoying discomfort.
