Back Pain Still A Year After C Section

Does anyone have any residual back pain from the spinal that was given to make you numb during your c-section? I am not 100% sure that my back problem is from the spinal- but am pretty sure that it is in the area that the shot was given. My spine absolutely hurts like crazy- even just to the touch. I can completely function like normal but there are times when I just sit in a chair and it hurts to have my spine touch the chair cushion. I am scared because I had a minor complication with the spinal. The hole created by the needle in my spine didn't close properly so I had spinal fluid leaking into my spine (all internally). It gave me the worst headache imaginable. After days of horrible and painful headaches I found out that all I needed to do to heal the hole was to drink caffeine. I drank a cup of coffee in the AM for a few days in a row and my headaches went away. Anyway, I am just wondering if anyone knows of any ongoing back pain or anything like that that can be caused by the spinal anestesia method. Thanks! MKM

Mine hurts as well, but my dd is only 4 months old. I have thought about calling the doc, I am worried they hit a nerve or something, because it hurts to the touch as well.

My back still hurts too. But, I'm only 11 wks pp. I've read that it usually goes away after a while. Mine doesn't hurt as bad as u describe though. It hurts when I life heavy objects or put strain on the muscle. I would call ur Dr. just to be sure since ur's seem to be so sensitive. Good Luck
