Hey Chem, Matty is doing fine, he had colic the first week...had to change his milk and his bottles. He is still fussy, but I do notice he now reaches my c-section and kicks it...my God the pain. I am going to have to talk to one of the ob's and demand painkillers....I did not realize the pain that goes along with a c-section...but I cannot understand why a woman would actually want one. I do have the help of my mom, but I cannot fry her out either...my son does not sleep well at night and during the day he will not even take hardly any naps...he is so hyper...he looks like my husband, but he has my sparkiness...I have him asleep right now..but he will not be for long...oh the days and nights of peace...my mom says every woman goes through the depression and the tiredness...I feel as though if I slept for 3 days I still could not catch up on lost sleep!! Chem you are one cool chick...you deserve a trophy and millions of dollars for having 4 c-sections, because I will not have any more children after this! Maybe mine was just worse than most people's, but I am so desperate to get rid of this pain...well, like clockwork, my son is crying. Time for me to feed him and see if he will sleep.

Hey Mattysmomma~ Your c-section experience sounds a lot like mine was. I quit after tha fiasco too. Have you thought about slapping the next fool that comes up to you and says "oh, you had a c-section, LUCKY YOU!" My neighbor did that to me after 14 hours of hard labor, and then a c-section from hell. I almost punched her but I was in too much pain to jump off the couch to clock her b___t. I never used to think about what I said to pregnant or newly delivered moms before I had kids, now I carefully choose my words and never a__sume that anyone's birth was easy unless they themselves say so. :~) Hope you found some pain relief and are starting to get better.

Hey, everyone..I cannot believe my son turns 2 months on the 6th...well, it turns out he has gurd...although he does not spit up much, he is on medication....being a parent is stressful, my back is giving a lot of problems...I think it's from the epidural, although I had scoliosis to begin with...one chil is enough for me...and yes I would love to slap the people that push c-sections...but I guess it depends on the person...I still believe that natural is best!!! Hey, chem, tell me whats happening...

Hey Maria! That is incredible that your baby is almost 2 months old! So he has GRD? I believe they can outgrow that right? How are you feeling? Did your doc ever come around and give you pain support? I know what you mean about the backaches, I had them for about a year after each spinal. I am in the middle of medical clinicals, we are on the Psych Unit right now and WOW...the human brain can be a dangerous weapon. Anyhow, that is why I haven't been on lately. I also have a mini-lap being done next Monday to loosen up some scar tissue and adhesions from my c's. I hope it is as easy as the doc says, but after c-sections I don't trust 'em. Their idea of "discomfort" and mine are apparently two different things. Check in with you soon, kiss the beautiful boy for us.
