This is not really a question, but an opinion - child birth, is a traumatic and life changing experience for a woman. But a C/S, is even more so, you go through moments of severe distress for your baby and yourself. I think that any woman having had a C/S should seek after-surgery therapy. It may not hit the woman straight away because she is so busy looking after her new born, but there is long term psychological effects to the surgery itself. And in todays 'to posh to push' att_tude in society she doesnt get the recognition of bravery that she should.

WELL SAID!!! When a women has NO choice but to deliver surgically it is essentially a slap in the face to hear others equate it to an easy cosmetic procedure. I agree one hundred percent that a woman who has no choice is told to be grateful for her healthy baby and to ignore her very real sadness with the unplanned (and many times traumatic) change of events.
