Fluid And Blood From Incision

I know there is a topic posted already, but I couldn't figure out how to add. I got up earlier and gushed fluid and blood (not a lot of blood). It scared me a lot. My partner looked at my incision and she doesn't see any tears or holes. Right now it's 2:00 am and I have 4 kids, including a newborn. I'm afraid they will tell me to go to ER, but I have no one to watch kids at this time of night. Since there is no tear, is this ok? I plan to call doc in the AM when I can get someone to watch the kids. Advice is greatly appreciated.

I had some fluid and a little blood seeping from my incision for about 3 weeks after my c-section. I asked my doctor about it and he said sometimes there is fluid trapped inside that has to drain from the incision. I didn't have a lot of drainage, nothing I would describe as a gush, so you may want to check with your doctor. How long ago was your c-section? Are you running a fever?
