Has anyone had a VBAC or attempted one? If so, Briefly explain your experience? I am thinking of having a VBAC for my next pregnancy and i am trying to get as much real life experiences as possible..

Yes, and it was the most fantastic, incredible, empowering BIRTH!!! I know people go on and on about how it doesn't matter how the baby gets out of you...but IT DID TO ME.. I had the best labor and delivery all done in a few hours. I felt great right away, sore, but didn't even need pain meds, not even a Tylenol. I insisted, had my husband arm me with all the facts (he is an MD) and well, I am so thrilled.

I would also like to learn more. I'm pregnant with my second and my kids will only be 15 months apart...does the lenght of time between births make a difference?

My 1st baby was born 2 mo early via c-section and I was asleep for it. I woke up 2 days later to meet my little girl. My second baby was a VBAC and he was 10 days late! The labor was very long ( since my body thought this was a first baby basically) I went into the hosp. about 11 am, my water broke about 3 am the next day, I pushed for 4.5 hours, and at 7:30 am my big baby boy was born healthy and strong! No complications with the incision, a lot of bleeding afterward. The docs had my uterus in thier hand ma__saging it to stop the bleeding, they repaired a tear...but other than that...it was pretty darn cool! I am due in 4 weeks again and will attempt another VBAC. I am keeping my fingers crossed that things will be faster this time. A c-section scares me. The best thing was actually feeling my son come out of ME and then hearing him scream and then holding him right away!

Hi! I had the MOST WONDERFUL VBAC and would not do it any other way now! I insisted I at least get the chance to try and it went like clockwork. i wasn't even in labor half a day, pushed like a pro with the help of great nurses and had only a few st_tches for superficial tearing. I loved it and hope you get one!
