This is an embarrassing question but im sure someone has to spit it out. Did anyone have very very painful bowel movements after c-section? Its been 3 weeks since ive had mine and im still bleeding when i "go"!

Yes!!!! I think though, that unless they nicked your colon the bleeding from your a__s is probably due to hemorrhoids from pregnancy and/or labor and attempts at pushing. Have you had your bum checked?

Yes, but then I went back to the doctor for a check up and it was a very large internal hemorrhoid and some tiny ulcers in my lower colon. They thought it was pregnancy-induced, long long labor and the ulcers were from severe stress of the whole episode. All is well now! Is the blood streaky or is it literally bleeding from there? How long does it last? Are you feeling weaker every day (that could be a sign of continued blood loss) or are you slowly feeling stronger (a good sign..) At any rate, if you can afford it and are able, go get checked, it can't hurt. Good Luck!

When I was discharged from the hospital, they told me to buy an otc stool softener and take it for a couple of weeks. It really helped.
