I had a c-section 7 months ago. I labored to 9 cm but had to have a c-section due to a few complications. I didn't get an infection or anything and had a hard, but normal recovery. But 7 months later the area around my scar is still sore if I put pressure on it, like leaning against a counter. How long does it take for this to go away, or does it ever?

I think (but I could be wrong) that it is there to stay. My scar is also sore the same as you describe. I have had stiches on my hand over 12 years ago and that scar is also sore if I put pressure on it. I think scar tissue just stays a bit sore, especially when it is layered 7 times with the c-section. (I labored to 8 cm too, what a trip to be so close!)
