Yesterday I was looking at my scar. I had my surgery 3 months ago. THe scar looks good actually. However, above the scar (in the crease where the pouch hangs) there were little slices in my skin and they hurt now. b/c I pulled it up a little to see it. I think it's from skin on skin contact with the sweat and all. What do I do?

Try lifting the skin and drying the area a couple of times a day with a hair dryer. If that doesn't get it to clear up, use a hydrocortisone cream.

Its quite common to get a topical yeast infection where your scar is due to the overlapping skin/tummy/pouch. A fungal cream will keep it cleared up. Make sure to keep the area clean and dry, especially in warmer weather.

I would not advise that you use powder. Powder only clumps up and gets stuck under there. After I came from the hospital I used to sweat something awful at night so I did a bunch of things to keep it dry down there. I used to dried mine with a hair dryer and a couple of times I stuck a paper towel up there to keep it dry while I slept.
