Infection After A C Section

On Oct. 29th I had a c-section, yesterday I was rushed to the hospital, I was in so much low right side back pain. It was caused by a severe kidney infection, this was from the cathator. Anyone else experience this?

No, but I have heard of others who have experienced the same thing. I got UTI's from the catheters, but I got symptoms right away and they were able to stop the infections from getting to my kidneys. Not everyone gets fevers or symptoms right away, so that was just rotten luck for you. Hope you are getting better!

i had a c-section on the 31st october and yesterday was told i had a infection from the cathator and that my incision is starting to get infected, i am in so much pain, i put off going to the toilet as much as possible cause it hurts to pee and the incision and now when i b___st feed and bub puts pressure on my top bit of my stomach it hurts there too, it's getting harder to do things with bub. My husabnd is around but i'm the one who gets up and feeds in the middle of the nite and it's torture to do so, i have had back pain too but am now on antibiotics.
