Infection At Incision Site After 7 YEARS

I had my last child over 7 YEARS ago (I have 3 kids, all by cesarean) and my incision still get infected when I ovulate and sometimes when I'm getting ready to start my period. (Only at those times). My doctor says it's because I am overweight and my incision isn't getting enough air to it, but my question to that is; Wouldn't it be infected all the time if that were the case? It gets really red, and it smells bad and oozes fluid out of it and itches really bad when it happens. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Well I have a question for you which is kinda backwards I guess: How does your incesion ooze if you had it done 7 years ago? Isn't it closed?

No, that's a very good question. It is closed up. I guess the white stuff is from infection?? I'm really not sure where it comes from. I'm going to ask my doctor one more time and if I get the same replay I'll go see someone else. I hate to doubt him, I've been going to him for over 10 years.
