Sounds like you have adhesions (fingers of scar tissue that have attached to other organs) and/or incisional endometriosis where some cells of the lining of the inside of your uterus got out during your c-section and have "nested" in your incision. When this happens those cells still think they are in the uterus and will respond to your monthly hormones just like the lining inside your uterus. That means they will swell up with blood and in size and will then have to shed just like the uterine lining does when you have your period. When this happens outside of the uterus there is great pain as blood is irritating to the rest of the tissues in your body. Ask your doctor about this and whether you have formed excess scar tissue. Good luck, I totally understand how you feel.

I gained a lot of weight after my first c-section and started having really bad pain on one side of the incision. When I stood up, it felt like something slipping down toward my v____a. The pain got so intense that sometimes I had trouble walking. I lost 80 lbs and the pain almost completely went away. I didn't see a doc until the beginning of my second pregnancy, and my doc said it was a weakness in the connective tissue.

You are so very welcome Jamie777. This particular problem did not happen to me, I had different problems, but I am a nursing student and the mother of 4 c-sec babies...so my guess is partially academic and partially just life experience. Please let us know how you are getting on, ok? And listen to JBear, she is wise and patient and her other posts are always reasonable and loving.

hi,thank you for all your help, I went to my doctor and he said what it can be because i got off the birth control patch because I didn't like the effect of it,i'm ovaulating and its pushing some pain. he checked me and said everything seems normal, but if the pain is still there even going back on a birth control, it can be a scar tissue that djh told be, because i told my doctor on what she said. and he said it can be if the problem doesn't go away. they would have to run test.other then that thank you so much for all your comments god bless

Good luck Jamie! The Germans have a name for ovulation pain, it is called mitterschmitz I believe, so you are not alone if that is it.
