Sharp Pain In Left Thigh When Trying To Stand Up

I just had a c-section on the 10th, and ever since, I have had this sharp pain in my left thigh but only when I try to stand up from a sitting or squatting position. The worst part... it's almost always happening when I'm trying to get off the toilet.
Anyone else have or has had this before? My grandmother thinks it may be a pinched sciatic nerve... any info on that?

amanda, i had a c-section on 2/21/05 an d i had the same problem . so much pain when i try to get up from bed, sitting , and stairs. it took about 2 months for that pain to go away. just have patience and you'll be fine soon .

I had my baby in Nov 2004 and I still get terrible pain down the leg. I went to the dr and she said the baby probably was laying on a muscle or a nerve and it will take a long time. I still am getting alot of pain down there it feels like muscles pulling.
