I just had a c-section on July 2nd. Was discharged from hospital on 4th of July. This week was good, I am able to walk around, carry and feed baby and even drive. I have steri strips that came off, and my incision is fine. Yesterday, all of a sudden I had stomach cramps. I didn't know if it was my stomach or ab muscles. I ate McD's that day and I thought it was that. I still have the pain in my upper stomach. I feel like I am starting at square one again and its really frustrating. Anyone else going through what I am going through?

You are doing too much. It could be the MacD's, but I doubt it. Food poisoning usually comes on within a couple hours and you feel deathly ill. After my c's I would take a pain med and end up doing way too much for someone who just had 9 months of pregnancy AND major abdominal surgery. I think you should kick back, not drive yet and recover more.

it could be gas pains...your bowels slow down after surgery...i had to take a stool softner and a laxative after my c last week...I had horrible bowel movements...and then felt fine...now im feeling some lower cramping also..i think it just takes awhile for the bowels to get regular again.
