Hi. I have 5 month old twin girls who were born by csection. I'm not planning a pregnancy for another year and a half to two years. I don't know too much about vbac and I'm not even sure if it is something I am interested in (kinda scary). But I am wondering if there are any excercises I can do to help make my uterus stronger so perhaps if I want to I can attempt a vbac. Thanks. (I know I am planning way in advance for an uncertain future, but it can't hurt)

far as i know there are not, only time. i had my first by emergency section and my 2nd was a successful vbac 2 yrs and 4 days later. the biggest thing is to know which way you want to go while excepting the fact that you could have another section regardless. i think if the docs tell you you are a good candidate then try. i think having a vbac was one of the most positive experiences of my life- and even though i had a 4th degree tear it was sooo much easier to heal.

i had a c-section with my daughter (almost 8 years ago) and i'm now 14 weeks. i have already informed my DR. that i do NOT want another c-section. he said we just have to see how everything goes. last time i had a bikini cut, so i know its possible. i am a bit nervous about it though. i'm alot older and wiser now, and know what actually happens with a c-section. last time it was kinda emergency so i had no idea. i was in labor for 22 hours so i really didn't care what they did to me to get the baby out!!
