I have just had my baby vis c-section 2 weeks ago. I am now getting very dizzy and have had some headaches and still in some pain and have no more pain meds. Has anyone gone trough this how long will this last and how did you cope?

After my first c-section, the doc prescribed tylenol with codeine for two weeks, and prescription-strength motrin for a couple of months. The motrin helped, and you don't get addicted to it like you might with the codeine. As far as the dizziness goes, are you drinking enough liquids and resting when your baby sleeps? You just had major abdominal surgery two weeks ago, don't forget to care for yourself while you're caring for your baby (and get baby's daddy and any relatives around to help you out)

You may be having problems with your blood pressure. I developed hypertension after my c-section, and that's pretty much what it felt like.

I had the same problem after my c-section in january, but i also was dizzy alot during my pregnancy. i went to the doctor and everyone says i'm dehydrated, drink more fluids. which i already did, but i drank even more. needless to say it still didn't help very much. i still get dizzy alot.
