What are the chances of having a va___al birth after having a cection. What do they base the decision on?

I don't know the percentage. My niece just had a VBAC in May- she had a natural homebirth because they don't have insurance. Thankfully all went well. When I was considering a VBAC, my doctor said the only criteria I had to meet was to be healthy- no high blood pressure, no Gestational Diabetes, etc. And, once in labor there were a list of things that if any of them occurred, they would want to do an immediate c-section (can't seem to remember them right now). Anyway, I found out at my 20 week u/s with my second baby that I have scarring of the cervix from a D&C and I can't dilate, so my decision was made for me. Good luck.

Amada it depends on the hospital you plan to go to. At the hospital where my son is born they don't let you have v____al births after c-section just based on policy. They don't want to risk any injuries to you or the baby.
