What Happens On Pre Operative Appt

Does anyone know what the pre-op appt. entails? I am going to have a scheduled c-section and my doctor said I have to make a pre-op appt. w/ the nurse. Thanks.

vitals and just discussion to prepare you for the surgery....you meet with the anestealogist (sp).....and talk about the spinal/epidural and if you have any questions..thats all talking and vitals!!!!! no biggie....oh and i think they draw your blood and sometimes do x-rays of your chest depending on where you are at....
