Anyone Had A Vaginal Birth After 3 C Sections

i had 3 previous c-sections, now i am expecting my fourth child.
has anyone had a va___al birth after 3 c-sections?
the reason i am asking this is because i desperately want to experience a va___al birth, but don't know if i will be allowed by my consultant.
i live in ireland, and when i was expecting my last baby the doctor said i won't be allowed to try at all.
but now i have changed doctors, and i also read that some women were allowed to deliver va___ally after 3 c-sections.
is there anyone out there like me? thanks for reading

Hi there. I myself have had 4 c-sections and do know how you feel. I really wanted that as well, but after much research and my highrisk dr. wouldn't even hear of it. I think its too dangerous, and so do dr's. Although thats our desire, I think sometimes we just have to know that the end result of healthy baby and safe and healthy mom are what we are striving for. Some things are unfortunate like this for instance, but we have to mourn the thought of that and move on positively and look forward to the situation and the end result of our beautiful baby. Thats what I did. I was really hoping to have a v____al birth mostly so I could have 1 more child as my dr basically said 4 is the limit for my uterus. I ended up having my tubes done and still 6 months postpartum have second thoughts on that choice. best of luck.

hi blessedwith4, i know it is so stressful, but i already have given up.
it is hard though to have c-sections everytime, but convenient to. although it hurts not being able to push a baby out myself, the outcome is the most important, thanks again for responding
