C Section And Having Tubes Tied Afterwards

I can't seem to get comfortable when i lie down. I get sharp pains in my right side my doctor said its from them stretching all my muscles.What can i do to alleviate the pain the pain meds dont seem to want to help???

sorry to hear your havin the same problem. i had my 2nd c-sec 10 weeks ago. i see the dr. in 2 days but in the meantime i asked the pharmacist what i could do for the pain. i told her that i have been taking 2 xtra strength tylonal At a time for the pain. she told me to try taking to xtra strength tylonal with 2 reg. strength advil. this does work, but only for a short time.

After my c-section, the doctor prescribed ibuprofen. The otc ibuprofen have a lot of sodium, and it can be dangerous to your liver to take them for a long time, but the prescription ones are a higher dosage and still safe. Right after the c-section I was taking tylenol with codeine, but after those ran out I started on the ibuprofen and it did help.

Ok, i'm not crazy, i just need to know if you live in edmonton (or did). I have only seen that name combination once before, and if you are her, i've been trying to find you forever!
