I had an emergency c-section three months ago, and recently my scar seems to look more raised and red. Does anyone know of any product that works well to help reduce the appearance C-section scars?

Apparently there is a product called Aloe Vera First, you have to spray it onto your scar and it's supposed to help with healing, at least so I've been told by quite a number of people...

I use Mederma. I had a csection on May 15, and my scar is a thin grey line and I can't feel it or even tell where it is when I touch it. I think that by the time the summer is over, it will be gone completely. Mederma has also helped with my stretch marks. It has made them fade to a white color and the are no longer indentions. My tummy feels smooth. The key to the mederma though is to use it right away. My old stretch marks aren;t fading quite as fast as the new ones. Now all I need is a magic work out to get rid of this squishy tummy...

Thanks. I couldn't find the Aloe Vera First, but I researched and started using Aloe Vera Gel and it seems to have helped quite a bit with the redness after just a week of use. I was thinking about getting and trying the Mederma. Now I definitely will. I'm lucky as I didn't get any stretch marks, but if you find that magic work out to get rid of the squishy tummy, let me know!!!

Also if you go into the natural foods section of your grocery store, they have just strait vitamin E oil. That helps tons with scars. My mom had thyroid sugery and she used it everyday, now you can't even tell there is a scar. It's works great!
