Yeah, s_x can be painful after a c-section for quite sometime. There is a separate thread somewhere specifically on that topic......

OK... this will be TMI lol, but I think it is hormonal (why s_x hurts). I mean there were no st_tches there or anything, so that wasn't it, but it was like I was really tight there for some reason. Even lubricant didn't help much. Fortunately, it eventually got better (took a few weeks- about 2 months, depending which delivery I'm talking about). i waited about 6 weeks after each baby to even try it.

Thanks! I just read the thread about s_x. It makes sense! That really sucks, though! At least I am learning about all of this...I like to know things ahead of time so I can be prepared!

Hi! My 2c on staples nad enema. Well I had staples and it sounds worse that it is. I havent felt any pain I hurted less than plucking your eyebrowse. No enema for me. Just be carefull on shaving down there, keep in mind that it could itch when it starts to grow back. Nurse did my shaving and it was minimal.

I actually had the laser treatments done 2 years ago, but thanks to pregnancy hormones, some of the hair has come back. Luckily, it is very minimal. I highly recommend laser hair removal. I shave the few hairs that I have and it takes them a couple months to grow back. I will be going back to the laser hair removal place after my pregnancy for the maintenance session to get rid of the hairs that popped back up due to pregnancy! I also had it done on my legs, but had to put it on hold after finding out I was pregnant. I can't wait to start my sessions back up. Even after 3 sessions, my legs practically have NO hair and I only need to shave once a month! Hey Nerdy Girl...did I read that you are from Chicago area, too? I'm in the western suburbs! GO BEARS!!!

wow, I did not have pain during s_x after my C. i waited until about 6wks...I cant say the earth moved...but it didnt hurt.
gavinsmom, I am going to find out what Im having on 2/21. I cant wait...and I have no preference. I love my boy...so another would be great...and a girl would be so much fun to shop for...much cuter stuff than for boys. So its a win win.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU.
Just relax, go w/the flow, trust your doctor and give yourself time to heal...and take help wherever and however long you can get it. I didnt change DS's diaper for the whole first week...dont feel guilty...b/c you will have plenty of time to make up for it.
LOL!!!

Nerdy Girl--What a small world! I feel funny calling you Nerdy Girl...like I'm calling you a nerd or something...lol! How did you pick the name? I go to a place called "Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow." I'm sure you've heard the annoying commercials that they always used to play on the radio. There are a whole bunch of other places that do laser hair removal now, but back when I first started, this was the only one I could find. It's pricey, but so well worth it! I was spending WAY more waxing every month! The best is underarms. I shave them MAYBE once every 3 or 4 months...only a few hairs pop up now and then and you can barely see them! So, truly a great investment! Haha! Can you tell I HATE body hair??!!!!

Suze--I totally agree with you...girls clothes are SO much cuter! My best friend had a little girl in Oct, so I still get to shop girls clothes...I can't help it! I buy stuff for her every time I shop! LOL! I had to go register and get blood work done at the hospital today. They gave me a tour and the rooms are like hotel rooms! Thank you again ladies for ALL of your help! You really helped make the time go by quicker for me, and most of all, calmed me down! :)

Yes, I have heard of Hair Today Gone Tomorrow. I have heard good things about Sona Med Spa as well, and they have several Chicago locations. I think I have to convince dh that this would be money well spent, you know? Regarding Nerdy Girl --- There is a long running joke among family and friends about what nerds dh and I are. We both have engineering degrees. I personally am ridiculously overeducated and am currently not even using my degrees at all! We have NERDS on our license plate, so you might see me out and about in the Chicagoland area......
