hi there, I think that really would depend on how your dr feels your insides are after each section. I know women who have been told they have a lot of scar tissue on their uterus and that their uterus is very thin and their doc has said only 2, and in my case my dr said I could do one more making a total of 4 c-sections. With each section you run the risk of a higher chance of placenta accrete ( where the placenta adheres to the uterus and is dangerous) as well as placenta previa, as well as a slightly higher chance of uterine rupture. Each section increases yours chances. I would see my dr and have him/her evaluate your history and they could tell you best based on your personal history as we are all so different. good luck!!

Hi well I have already have had 4 c-section. and I am 13 week pregnant now so I will be haveing my 5th. I was told that you could have as many as you wanted kids it all is based on how well the c-section was done and how well you heal.

I'm going on my third, My doctor said that after a 4th, the scar tissue is worse, but he didn't say I couldn't keep going.

Hi everyone. I'm on my third c-section. Personally I prefer them to the alternative. My last doctor advised me not to have any more kids because he said with every one I have the lining grows thinner and it's more difficult to heal, not to mention the possibility of a ruptured uteris that could kill us both. However, my current doctor advised a c-section and when I told him that I would like to have my tubes tied after this one if getting pregnant agin would be dangerous, he quickly dismissed the idea saying that I was young and healthy and in no danger as of right now of permanently hurting myself or a baby due to c-section. So I'm gonna wait and see how this delivery goes to make a decision. But I really think it just depends on your body and it's ability to heal
