I had a c-sec about 4 weeks ago. i am still feeling numb down in my pubic area, only on the left side. has this happened to anyone, if so does the numbness go away, how long does it take until i have feeling again.
it is a very weird feeling, or i guess lack of feeling!!!!! thanks!!

It may never go away. Most of us have a numb spot due to a nerve being cut. You'll also have some phantom itching. But you get used to it.

i was numb probably for 3months. I am 7 mos Post Partum and i have all my feeling back.

Hey Ronni, I had my c section 11 years ago and the very odd time I still feel kinda numb there. Its nothing to worry about though. Like Been There said, they are cutting nerves and a major muscle to get in. You do get used to it.

i had my c section almost 3 months now and i am still numb as well. i have heard from some people that the numbness may always be there. My doctor says it gets better with time.
